A global policy review undertaken by Children Unite alongside consultations with survivor organisations informed a new approach to safeguarding we call ‘survivor-informed safeguarding’. This conceptual model outlines guiding principles to ensure safeguarding respects and protects those with lived experience of sexual violence.
